Do sex only sites actually work or do people just use Tinder now?

I've been going back and forth on this for a while and figured I'd just ask here. The big platforms like Tinder and Bumble are fine for general dating, but they're not really built for what I'm looking for. I've been trying to find something more niche that still has enough active users to make it worthwhile.

  • Start on the free tier to test member quality before upgrading
  • Use a throwaway email when registering to protect your inbox
  • Look for active profiles with recent login timestamps
  • Check if the platform has real ID or email verification
  • Read third-party reviews before entering payment info

Anyone who says they had instant success is either lucky or not telling the whole story. Someone in another thread pointed me toward DatingFly and the member quality there was way better than most of the mainstream platforms.

Sites like datingfly.online are worth checking out if you haven't. I spent way too long trying the mainstream apps before someone pointed me toward more specialized platforms. The difference in member quality was immediately obvious. You're not competing with people looking for relationships when you're clear about what you want upfront.

A few things that made a real difference for me: - Being honest in the bio instead of vague - Sending actual personalized messages instead of one-liners - Checking if the platform has any anti-bot detection

Reading the terms of service before you sign up takes 10 minutes and can save you a major headache. From what I've seen, Datedesire handles verification a lot better than average. Fewer bots, more active profiles.

The free tiers are almost always just bait. You can browse, but messaging is usually locked behind a paywall.

Safety wise, always meet in public the first time. No exceptions.

Honestly same experience here. Tried several and most felt like ghost towns after a week. If you haven't looked at Souldate yet, it's worth a few minutes. I've had better luck there than on most of the apps.

Best advice I got was to upload a clear photo. Profiles without photos get ignored instantly. Someone in another thread pointed me toward Rendate and the member quality there was way better than most of the mainstream platforms.

I had luck being super specific in my profile about what I want. Vague profiles get zero responses.
