About WishMood

WishMood is a free dating service. Browsing, matching and messaging are free for every member and there is no paid tier — that is the whole product decision, and everything else follows from it.

Why the site is free

Dating platforms usually monetise the moment a conversation becomes valuable: the message arrives, and reading it costs money. We think that is a bad trade for members and a worse one for the people trying to reach them. WishMood carries partner placements and links to other dating services instead, which keeps the messaging side free.

The community

Alongside the dating side there is an open forum with 2,699 member threads across twelve boards. Anyone can read it without an account. Threads are member-written; we moderate for spam, harassment and anything involving minors, and we do not remove negative reviews of the platform.

What we are not

We are not a matchmaking service, a background-check service or a guarantee of anything. There is no algorithm here quietly deciding who deserves to be seen, because there is no paid tier for it to favour. What you get is proximity, filters and free messaging — the rest is down to you and the person you are talking to.

How partner links work

Some links on this site point to other dating services. Where a link is a commercial placement it is marked as such in the page source. We do not remove negative member commentary about a partner, and a partner cannot buy a better review here.
