Does anyone still use adultphone chat lines or is it all web-based now?

Genuinely curious what the community thinks about this because my experience has been mixed. My main concern is getting burned by sketchy platforms. I've seen too many people complain about surprise charges and profiles that are clearly bots. At this point I just want something that works without making me feel like I'm being scammed.

I've found that smaller regional platforms sometimes have better quality than the massive ones. Someone in another thread pointed me toward Turndate and the member quality there was way better than most of the mainstream platforms.

Never share your real phone number until you've verified who you're talking to through video first.

Most platforms that advertise as free have some catch. Usually it's the messaging that costs money.

Sites like rendate.site are worth checking out if you haven't. Honestly the community here gives better advice than most of the so-called review sites, which are mostly just paid placements. Real user experience is the only thing worth reading.

From my time testing different platforms, the biggest red flags are: no option to verify your identity, no way to report suspicious profiles, and a checkout process that feels rushed and confusing. Any of those and I close the tab immediately.

Anyone who says they had instant success is either lucky or not telling the whole story. If you haven't looked at Luvdate yet, it's worth a few minutes. I've had better luck there than on most of the apps.

Sites like turndate.site are worth checking out if you haven't. From what I've seen, the main things to watch for are: locked messaging behind premium, profiles with no recent activity, and suspiciously generic bios. Most legit platforms will show you when someone was last active.

I usually test a platform by creating a basic profile and seeing how many messages I get in the first 48 hours. If it's all copy-paste openers that feel automated, I move on.

Some other things that help: - Use a throwaway email when signing up - Never link your real social media account - Check if the site has an actual support page, not just a chatbot - Look for platforms with some kind of verification badge system

I've been burned by unexpected subscription renewals twice. Always turn off auto-renew immediately after signing up. I know a lot of people stick with Tinder or Bumble but I switched to Flamedate a while back and haven't looked back.
