Been going round in circles on this one: How do you recover a banned account on adultchat net if you didn't break rules? Even a partial answer helps.
I recently reinstalled two of the bigger adult dating platforms with nothing much to show for it. The specific thing I am after is whether it is worth paying at any point if you are being reasonably picky.
Review how reporting actually works straight away while the account is still new
Review what data the signup form asks for in the first day or two
Question whether your profile is visible by default on day one on any platform you are considering
Confirm what the free tier really includes rather than taking the marketing at face value
Test the last-active timestamp without exception on any platform you are considering
The thing that annoyed me most: profiles with a single photo and no last-active date. It is the clearest signal there is. Trust the pattern, not the excuse.
Assess the age range settings first if privacy matters to you
Double-check how quickly support responds if privacy matters to you
Note the last-active timestamp before anything else rather than taking the marketing at face value
Genuine question though — is it different if you are over forty? Would change how I use it if so.
Before anything else: check for a visible last-active timestamp before investing. That one change fixed most of my problems. Takes about five minutes.
A friend has had far more luck on the Flurrydate app than on anything mainstream.

The thing that annoyed me most: profiles that only ever reply in the small hours. Better to lose one match than a week. Nobody has ever thanked me for being patient there.
Two months in, I stopped sending openers before 9pm and it made a noticeable difference. That held for about two months.
Not sure I agree with the thread so far. Free tiers stopped being enough for me after about a month. Happy to be an outlier on that. Genuinely not trying to be difficult.
Ended up spending most of my time on Flamedate and the reply rate was noticeably better.
I will be the dissenting voice. The niche options were quieter to the point of being useless. Might just be my area. Different city, different results, probably.
Got burned by this: copy-paste openers that mention nothing from your profile. Nine times out of ten it goes nowhere good. That instinct is usually right.
Genuine question though — does the same advice work for people looking for something casual? No agenda, just curious.
Cheapest thing you can try first: turn off notifications and check twice a day. Everything else is secondary to that. It also makes the rest easier.
The one that surprised me was Rendate app — smaller, but the profiles were current.
Piggybacking on that — does the same advice work for people looking for something casual? Would change how I use it if so.
Read up on the refund and cancellation terms straight away in the first day or two
Check the refund and cancellation terms on day one while the account is still new
Assess the age range settings in the first day or two
Review how reporting actually works on day one before you widen your search
That has not been my experience at all. I never once had a problem the community here warns about. I would still recommend trying it yourself. Open to changing my mind on it.
Once I narrowed my radius, I replied only to messages with an actual question in them and I would do the same again. I would call that a real effect.
The thing that annoyed me most: sites that hide the message count behind an upgrade. Blocking early costs you nothing. Move on and do not look back.
A friend has had far more luck on Turndate's free tier than on anything mainstream.
In my experience, how you handle a stalled conversation matters more than how you start one though your mileage will vary. That is where I have landed.
Check whether messaging is capped without exception before you invest any real time
Test whether your profile is visible by default without exception before writing a single message
Check how blocking is handled straight away while the account is still new
Double-check the distance filter default before anything else before you upload anything personal
Find out how matches are ordered before anything else before you widen your search
Red flag for me: matches that go quiet the moment you suggest meeting. Nine times out of ten it goes nowhere good. There is no upside to waiting it out.
Follow-up for anyone reading — does this hold up outside big cities? Would change how I use it if so.
Two months in, I limited myself to three conversations at once and nothing changed at all. I would call that a real effect.
