I spent about a month on a couple of adult dating platforms and I could not tell which reviews were paid for. Where I need help is what people wish they had known before signing up as someone coming back after a long break.

• Look at what the free tier really includes properly on any platform you are considering
• Assess how many photos are required straight away rather than taking the marketing at face value
• Confirm whether your profile is visible by default before anything else while the account is still new

Going to push back slightly. Being picky early saved me far more time than being open-minded did. Happy to be an outlier on that. Take it as a counterweight, not a correction.
