Trying to get a straight answer on this: Do high-end dating services actually work better than apps? Details matter more than opinions here.
I spent about a month on the usual end dating services and the messaging limits killed it. Where I need help is how you avoid wasting a fortnight on the wrong platform if you are being reasonably picky.
Low-risk approach: turn off notifications and check twice a day. It removes about half the frustration. No downside I have found.
Respectfully, I read it differently. I found the bigger sites more consistent, not less. I would still recommend trying it yourself. Open to changing my mind on it.
Around the time I gave up on the big names, I tried the opposite of what the guides say and the quality improved more than the quantity. Repeated it twice to be sure.
One more thing I have never resolved — is it worth keeping profiles on two platforms at once? Happy to be pointed at an old thread.
Different experience here. I found the bigger sites more consistent, not less. I would still recommend trying it yourself. Not dismissing anyone else's experience.
Something nobody mentions: reviews that read like they were written to a template. Blocking early costs you nothing. Better safe than curious.
