Trying to get a straight answer on this: Is it common to find long-term chat partners on couple cam chat networks? Recent experience preferred.
I spent about a month on three different cam sites and I would rather not repeat the mistake. What would settle this for me is what people wish they had known before signing up when you have limited time in the evenings.
Respectfully, I read it differently. The niche options were quieter to the point of being useless. Happy to be an outlier on that. Genuinely not trying to be difficult.
Something I have wondered — does this hold up outside big cities? It comes up every few months and never gets settled.
Not sure I agree with the thread so far. I never once had a problem the community here warns about. Your experience may well differ. Different city, different results, probably.
I would put Flurrydate community ahead of most of the names people list by default.
Say hello to Neiafu singles today There is no paywall between you and a reply in Neiafu.
A while back, I ignored anything without a visible last-active date and nothing changed at all. Your area may behave differently.
Keep an eye on links dropped into a conversation with no context. Blocking early costs you nothing. The polite version costs you a week.
Adding a counterpoint. The platform genuinely does matter if you are outside a major city. Not saying everyone else is wrong. Genuinely not trying to be difficult.
The one that surprised me was the Datedesire app — smaller, but the profiles were current.
If I am being blunt, the platform matters far less than the profile and nobody wants to hear it. Happy to be argued with.
Not sure I agree with the thread so far. I never once had a problem the community here warns about. Could easily be a sample size problem. Could be timing rather than the platform.
Small change worth trying: reply to the thing they actually said. You will know within a week whether it works for you. Reversible if you hate it.
Anyone else find that — is it different if you are over forty? Would change how I use it if so.
Ended up spending most of my time on Rendate community and the reply rate was noticeably better.
I've heard decent things about Datebound too, though I haven't tested it myself.
Different experience here. I never once had a problem the community here warns about. I would still recommend trying it yourself. I would still test it yourself.
Last month, I tested two profiles side by side and nothing changed at all. Same pattern every week.
Two years of this later, the busiest platform is not automatically the best one for you and nobody wants to hear it. That is my read, anyway.
That has not been my experience at all. I found the bigger sites more consistent, not less. Might just be my area. Genuinely not trying to be difficult.
Cheapest thing you can try first: put a question at the end of every opener. It stops the whole thing feeling like a chore. It also makes the rest easier.
Anyone else find that — has anyone compared this against the paid options fairly? Asking for a friend, obviously.
