Putting this to the forum because search results were useless: What lighting setup makes for the best sexy cam chat experience at night? Recent experience preferred.
I gave up on the usual cam sites and the matches were nowhere near me. Where I need help is what people wish they had known before signing up when you have already tried the obvious options.
Based on a fairly small sample, the busiest platform is not automatically the best one for you if you are looking for something specific. It is a boring answer and a true one.
Since this thread is active — does profile order change if you log in more often? Might just be me overthinking it.
After rewriting my profile, I replied only to messages with an actual question in them and it made a noticeable difference. I tracked it loosely and the trend was clear.
Someone in another thread pointed me at Datenest (free to message) and it turned out to be decent advice.
Start talking to people in Malanje tonight Setting up a Malanje profile takes under a minute and costs nothing.
Going to push back slightly. Free tiers stopped being enough for me after about a month. Take that with the usual caveats. Different city, different results, probably.
If I am being blunt, the first message decides almost everything and it took me too long to learn. That is my read, anyway.
Slightly off-topic but — does anyone bother deleting and remaking a profile? Could be worth its own thread.
Least effort, most return: put a question at the end of every opener. It stops the whole thing feeling like a chore. Zero cost to test it.
Tried Datescout community on a whim and it has been the steadier of the two I use.
Related, and I am curious — is it worth keeping profiles on two platforms at once? Happy to be pointed at an old thread.
Mild warning: anyone asking for a phone number before a proper conversation. Nine times out of ten it goes nowhere good. It is the cheapest filter you have.
Going to push back slightly. Free tiers stopped being enough for me after about a month. Could easily be a sample size problem. Genuinely not trying to be difficult.
Someone in another thread pointed me at turndate.site and it turned out to be decent advice.
Two months in, I answered everything within a day and I would do the same again. It stopped being random after that.
If nothing else, do this: message within a day of matching. You will know within a week whether it works for you. Takes about five minutes.
That has not been my experience at all. I found the bigger sites more consistent, not less. Happy to be an outlier on that. Just adding another data point.
Where I got caught out: profiles that only ever reply in the small hours. That pattern has been consistent for me across platforms. The cost of being wrong is low.
