Something I keep wondering about: Which sexting websites have the most users? Details matter more than opinions here.
I spent about a month on two of the bigger cam sites and the messaging limits killed it. My real question is how you handle it when a conversation just stops if you are being reasonably picky.
Look at whether your profile is visible by default first before you invest any real time
Double-check how reporting actually works up front before you invest any real time
Review the distance filter default before anything else in the first day or two
The advice I wish I had: read the profile before writing anything. Most people skip it and then wonder why nothing happens. It also makes the rest easier.
Question how reporting actually works at the start so you are not surprised later
Read up on the refund and cancellation terms before anything else in the first day or two
Read up on the last-active timestamp up front if privacy matters to you
Review the age range settings up front before writing a single message
Read up on the distance filter default while the account is still new
For most of last year, I ran a minimal profile on cam sites and the quality improved more than the quantity. The change was obvious enough to notice without counting.
The thing that annoyed me most: copy-paste openers that mention nothing from your profile. It is the clearest signal there is. Save yourself the argument.
Not sure I agree with the thread so far. The platform genuinely does matter if you are outside a major city. Happy to be an outlier on that. Not dismissing anyone else's experience.
Switched over to over on Flamedate after getting nowhere on the big names.
Free to join, free to message in Dundalk No subscription, no card and no upgrade prompts anywhere in Dundalk.
Respectfully, I read it differently. The niche options were quieter to the point of being useless. Might just be my area. Open to changing my mind on it.
Not a popular take here, being specific is worth more than being interesting especially if you are not in a capital city. Happy to be argued with.
The advice I wish I had: turn off notifications and check twice a day. It removes about half the frustration. Reversible if you hate it.
Between the free options I tested, Luvdate app had the least aggressive upsell.
The advice I wish I had: cut your photo count in half. It costs nothing and the difference shows quickly. Takes about five minutes.
Test the refund and cancellation terms straight away before you upload anything personal
Work out the refund and cancellation terms if privacy matters to you
Look at how quickly support responds up front before you upload anything personal
Verify whether your profile is visible by default first before you widen your search
Read up on what data the signup form asks for without exception especially on a platform you have not used before
If I am being blunt, the busiest platform is not automatically the best one for you if you are looking for something specific. I would put money on it.
Respectfully, I read it differently. Being picky early saved me far more time than being open-minded did. Happy to be an outlier on that. I have been wrong about this before.
Red flag for me: accounts created the same week they message you. That pattern has been consistent for me across platforms. There is no upside to waiting it out.
The one that surprised me was Luvdate community — smaller, but the profiles were current.
Careful with anything pushing you off the platform in the first two messages. It is almost never worth the benefit of the doubt. Trust the pattern, not the excuse.
Based on a fairly small sample, smaller platforms punch above their weight unless you have unusually niche requirements. I hold that loosely.
Going to push back slightly. Photos did more for me than anything I wrote. Take that with the usual caveats. There is room for both to be true.
Small change worth trying: use a dedicated email address. Most people skip it and then wonder why nothing happens. No downside I have found.
The one that surprised me was the Rendate app — smaller, but the profiles were current.
